On May 28, 2014, Mr. Peter Lee as a representative of CARGILL and Mr. Feng as a project manager of JNS with other guests from site team and marketing dept. attended the signing ceremony at shipyard’s GM meeting room for the first built 39000DWT bulk carrier JNS134.subsequent naming ceremony, related guests were invited to gather on the JNS134 CASCADE witness exciting moment.
The stability and hull structure of CASCADE was designed as suitable for worldwide service and top level of energy saving and emission reduction with her length of overall of 180m, draft of 10.6m and gross tonnage of 25000 ton. The successful construction of this vessel was significant for JNS to go though the whole process of shipbuilding as soon as possible. During the construction, with the support of LR&PB, JNS set up a series of index to solve the difficulties of technique and workmanship after active research and development. The builders and technical personnel's rigorous working attitude as well as the hard working were widely approved by shipowners and classification society.
